Hey guys welcome back to another post! Before we get started I just wanted to remind y'all that if you ever have any questions for me or about my post feel free to make a comment and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Alright for today's post even though you probably saw the title we are going to be doing a top five book series from the past list. These will not be in any rank order.
Our first series is The Baby Sitters Club. The first book, Kristy’s Great Idea, came out in 1986 and the books stopped coming out in 2000. In total there are 213 books published by Scholastic. The series was such a success that in 1990 a TV later show came out.
Our second series is The Little House in The Big woods series. This series is an autobiography written by Laura Ingles Wilder that came out in 1932. These books are some of Laura’s personal memories from growing up in the woods of Pepin, Wisconsin.
Number three is Sweet Valley Twins. This series was created by Francine Pascal and written by Jamie Suzanna. These books were first released in 1986. Because of much success there were several spin offs. The spin offs include Sweet Valley High, Sweet Valley Senior Year, and Sweet Valley University.
That brings us to number four, The Boxcar Children. These books were written by Gertrude Chandler Warner. This series was published in 1924. In total there were 166 books published. These books were separated into mysteries and specials.
Lastly, we have one of my favorite childhood books, Junie B Jones. These hilarious novels by Barbara Park first came out in 1992. There are 28 books in the series including a Junie B Journal. The books did eventually stop coming out in 2013 when Park died.
I hope you enjoyed my top five book series from the past as much as I did! Have a wonderful day! Good bye!
