Five Things I Have Been Doing During Social Distancing

Hey guys welcome back to my blog! Today I am going to be sharing with you five things I have been doing during social distancing.

Okay so the first thing I have been doing is reading . I have enjoyed this time so much, and I encourage you all to enjoy some reading time as well!

The second thing I have been doing is digital school work. Although this may sound boring because we are on break, it isn’t so bad after all. It isn’t so bad because you can work at your own pace, get up at whatever time you want, and for me it is shorter than normal school.

The third thing I have been doing is go on walks with my family. I love these afternoon walks because I get to exercise after being cooped up all day, I get to spend time with my family, and some of our routes are very scenic.

One of the other things I have been doing while on break is play on my facetime with my friends. My friends and I have been trying very hard to stay in touch and have been successful so far.

The last thing I am going to share with y’all that I have been doing is trying to convince my parents to let me get a dog. As I mentioned before, I have been keeping up with my friends. With one of my friends we have been trying to find the perfect dogs for us via Facetime each day. Do you have a dog or any other pet? Make a comment down below saying if you have a pet what kind it is and one cool fact about it or if you don’t comment if you would like one and what kind you would get.

I hope you enjoyed reading what I have been doing during social distancing! Remember to stay safe and healthy. I can’t wait to see you in the next post! Goodbye!

Five Reasons Why Amazon is the Best

Hey! Welcome back to my blog! Today, after lots of thought,  I finally decided that I was going to write about five reasons why Amazon is the best. Before I begin I wanted to remind you that if you have any ideas or requests for a future blog post please make a comment so it can be taken into consideration.

Okay reason one is fast free two day shipping if you have Amazon Prime. An Amazon Prime membership is $12.99 a month. Even though not all items are Prime eligible most are, so the Prime membership is definitely worth it. This is only one of the many, many Amazon Prime perks.

Another reason Amazon is the best is the outstanding customer service they offer. Amazon has amazing customer service because they do all that is in their ability and control to fix any issues you may have.

Our third reason for why Amazon is the best is all the amazing items. Amazon offers a wide variety of items in almost every single category there is. They have everything from a dinosaur taco holder to summer camp scented candles.

The next reason as to why Amazon is the best is the searches show relevant items. Unlike some other e-commerce companies Amazon gives back items that are actually related to your search.

Lastly, reason five is the great prices Amazon offers. Amazon offers amazingly reasonable prices for each item you look into buying.

In my opinion when looking into online shopping Amazon is the best online shopping company. With that said Amazon is definitely my go-to. What do you think about Amazon? You can make your vote in the comment section.  I hope you enjoyed these five reasons why Amazon is the Best! Good bye!

Fun Activities to do While at Home

Hello and welcome back to my blog! Today I thought because we have to stay home due to Covid-19, I should do a post on fun things to do at home. So let’s get started!

Number one is read! Reading can be very fun if you have the right book. So, I put together a list of books at the bottom in the extras section that I loved and think you will too!

The second item on our list is watch T.V. To just kick back with your favorite snack and binge watch can be very relaxing. Netflix has a very good selection for lots of age ranges for a good price as well.

Next on our list is to play board games. This can be very fun if you want to have a tournament with a  championship or a game night with anyone who lives with you.

Number four on our list of things you could do is complete some puzzles. There are many different kinds of puzzles-- you may even find a hobby you love with all of the choices available.

Lastly on our list is writing. With writing there are so many different possibilities out there. You could base your writing off another story or make up your own.

I hope these five fun activities to do while at home inspire you and help keep you occupied. I will see you on Monday! Good bye!

The History of St Patrick’s Day

Hello and welcome back to my lovely blog! Sorry for not posting yesterday, but I do have a reason for that. I decided to post today instead because it’s St. Patrick's Day. With that in mind, today I am going to do a St.Patrick's Day special.

St. Patrick's Day is a tradition that started in Ireland in the early seventeenth century when a man named Maewyn Succet was captured and taken to Ireland at age sixteen. In his imprisonment, he believed he was captured because of his lack of faith, so he spent lots of time in prayer. Six years later, at age twenty-two, Succet escaped from Ireland to go back to his home country, Great Britain, because of a vision he had.

Once St. Patrick had returned to Great Britain, he kept having a dream to go back to Ireland to tell the people about God. Before returning back to Ireland, he spent twelve years in France because he did not feel ready to be a missionary. When he did finally make it back to Ireland, he was a priest. Over the course of twenty years, he traveled and baptized people all over Ireland. On March seventeenth 461 or 493 (the exact date is unknown), St. Patrick died. Ever since then the Irish people have celebrated with a feast every year on March seventeenth.

Now St. Patrick's day is celebrated differently all around the world. Some of the things people do are celebrate with parades, dye lakes and rivers green, wear lots of green, and many other things.

Even though there might be different ways people celebrate around the world and other myths such as leprechauns have been brought into this holiday, one thing is for sure. We are all celebrating the same thing, Christianity being spread throughout Ireland. I hope you had fun learning about the history of St. Patrick's day! Goodbye and happy St. Patrick's day!
